S2/E20 Marc Mexsom OUT NOW

On this episode we talk with Marc Mexsom, a story of child abuse, depression, self medications, a dark secret, and a life time struggle. All brought about by two adult men in a positions of trust who abused this trust to abuse children

Definitely the hardest podcast I’ve done to date, not because of Marc he is a courageous man now on a mission to prevent this happening in the future by educating children that its ok to talk about abuse. The topic is what I found difficult to discuss, Marc thanked me for making it comfortable for him to talk, well it was Marc who made it somewhat comfortable for me to ask questions.

I encourage all to share this podcast with family and friends, and to get behind Community Courage to help make a difference for our children. So sit back and relax as we talk with Marc Mexsom, Hawks.

S2/E13 David Ure.

David “Davie” is a proud Scotsman born and bred, his father was a Soldier and Davie spent much of his youth moving around Europe following his father’s career. Davie played Rugby as a lad and by all accounts was quite good, however the call of the Army was strong. Davie joined the British Army and served with 3rd Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland (The Black Watch). Davie served in Afghanistan on two occasions and had aspirations of doing SAS Selection, however due to medical reasons he was unable to, and discharged on medical grounds. Davies wife is American and due to COVID they are living on opposite sides of the world, Davie intends to move to the US and start anew. I really enjoyed talking with Davie, he is a younger guy with an older head, and has clear goals for his life moving forward.

Davie is also the host of “The Lead Wasps Podcast” great listen and well worth tuning in.

So sit back and relax and I hope you enjoy season 2 episode 13 David Ure.
